The way the world celebrated 50 years old Pride – regardless of the pandemic

It’s 50 years because the very first Gay Pride march in New York, also 51 because the Stonewall riots in town that helped energise the struggle for homosexual equality.

Many Pride events across the planet have been cancelled or transferred online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But over the weekend, decreased numbers of individuals still took to the roads in cities such as New York, Taipei and Berlin.
