It’s being reported that although Trump claims he was not briefed, the united states army attempted to protect the troops from Russia’s bounty.
New: @barbarastarrcnn reports that there have been several attempts at protecting US forces in Afghanistan due to the intelligence re Russian bounties.
in the event the danger was serious enough to raise force protection, why would not the president be briefed?

As more outlets have confirmed that the first report that the Russians put a bounty on the heads of US troops in Afghanistan,” Trump’s claims of bogus information are falling. The White House attempted to assert that Trump was not briefed, but the Office of the Director of National Intelligence will not state whether Trump was granted a written briefing he ignored.
In the event the Russian bounty on US troops had been”fake news” since the President maintained on Twitter, why did the army take actions to attempt and protect US forces in Afghanistan?
The bounty is actual. The government knew about it, and Donald Trump has done nothing to punish Putin for committing the Taliban to kill US troops in Afghanistan.
